The European Union Allows Cranberry Extract To Be Used As A Raw Material For New Food

On May 12, 2017, the European food safety authority (EFSA) released the 10.2903 / j.e. 2017.4777 document, 

which allows cranberry extract to be used as a raw material in accordance with the regulations (EC) no258/97.

Cranberry extract powder by cranberry production through the use of ethanol extraction of adsorption resin 

column to retain the juice concentrate phenolic composition, cranberry extract powder according to the proposed 

use methods and use level as food ingredients are safe.
