Curcumin

Pharmacological action

1. Cholestery: This product or its sodium salt has the effect of cholestery. Intravenous injection can reduce the content of solid components and increase bile secretion in dogs. But in the whole bile secretion cycle, the absolute total excretion of bile salt, bilirubin and cholesterol increased, and the fatty acid composition remained constant.

2. Antibacterial: Staphylococcus aureus has a strong antimicrobial effect.

Application

1.Medical Science

Curcumin is a kind of pigment extracted from Curcuma longa, a plant of Curcumae family. 

Curcumin also exists in other plants of Curcumae family. 

Modern studies have found that curcumin can inhibit inflammation, antioxidant and anti-rheumatoid effects. 

VITY vitamin magazine reported: "The main pharmacological effects of curcumin are antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticoagulant, lipid-lowering, anti-atherosclerosis, anti-aging, free radical elimination and inhibition of tumor growth. 

In November 2006, an article in the American Journal of Arthritis and Rheumatism pointed out that curcumin can prevent joint swelling, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, cancer and so on.

2.Food

Curcumin is used for coloring of sausage products, canned products, sauce and brine products, and its usage depends on the normal production needs.
