[Source] The volatile oil obtained from the heartwood of sandalwood by distillation.

The heartwood of sandalwood was sliced and placed in a large distiller. After distillation, 3-5% Sandalwood oil could be obtained.

This oil should be stored in bottles to avoid sunlight and ventilation.

[Medicinal Material] Pure sandalwood sleeves are colorless or even yellowish slightly sticky oils with inherent aroma of sandalwood.

Sandalwood Oil can dissolve in 70% ethanol of 6 times amount at 20 C, with specific gravity of 0.973-0.985 (25 C) and optical rotation of - 15-20.
